  • 1994: The divorced and remarried "cannot receive Holy Communion as long as this situation persists".
  • 1997: Buddhism is an "auto-erotic" spirituality.
  • 2000: Other faiths are "lesser searches" for the truth.
  • 2002: "Less than 1% of the priests" are sex abusers.
  • 2005: We are moving towards a "dictatorship of the relativism".

And my favorite:

  • 1997: "Christianity might diminish into a barely discernable presence"

It won't take long if they keep electing retrograde priests to speak for them.
